Our lab focuses on all aspects of systematic research with a focus on Dipsocoromorpha. Our projects comprise different systematic levels, i.e. species descriptions and generic revisions, but also higher-level systematics, and emphasize both morphological and molecular data acquisition and analysis. An improved understanding of systematics of this group will establish them as a model for investigating genitalic asymmetry and the evolution of elytra and will eventually be the key to understanding how a group of tiny organisms can become as diverse as Dipsocoromorpha are today.
